Fiddlehead Montessori's Elementary tuition is based on a progressive scaled tuition which utilizes a “Family Financial Commitment Plan.” The Family Financial Commitment Plan enables Fiddlehead Montessori families to educate their children as equal members of an economically, racially, and culturally diverse community. This Commitment Plan is designed to meet a portion of the school’s annual budget through “Contracted Fees.”
Instead of a set tuition, a Contracted Fee is calculated for each family within a progressive scale model in equitable proportion to the family’s financial resources. Maximum fees are set in tiers and determined by the Fiddlehead Board of Directors on an annual basis.
All Elementary families will be asked to submit a Family Financial Worksheet (FFW) at the time of enrollment and annually thereafter when re-enrolling. This Worksheet is used to determine each family’s Contracted Fee for the coming school year. Although we encourage all families to complete the Worksheet, families can elect not to submit financial information by signing the Waiver at the end of the Worksheet. By signing the Waiver, families are agreeing to pay the annual Maximum Tuition for the entire school year.
All families in the Elementary programs will receive a Family Financial Worksheet (FFW) with their enrollment paperwork. Families are required to complete the FFW to determine their total adjusted household income which in turn will decide which Financial Tier will be applied to contracted fees. Financial Tiers reflect total yearly Contracted Fees by program.
Families with two students receive a 10% reduction in tuition per child.
$100.00 discount is applied when paying tuition in full by October 1st.
Scholarship available to enrolled families in need of financial assistance.
Financial Responsibilities per student (non-refundable)
Application Fee: One time payment of $75.00 due with Student Application to put your child in our Elementary enrollment pool
New Student Enrollment and Annual Re-Enrollment Fee: $75.00 (due in February for returning families, $150 per family with siblings)
10-month Tuition for the 2024-2025 school year
Materials Fee: $250 per student
Extracurricular Activities Fee: $250 per student
Additional Information
10-month Tuition is due the first calendar day of each month. A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for payments received or post-dated after the 10th.
Tuition is not discounted for school or family vacations, illnesses, or holidays.
By signing the Tuition Agreement, you are agreeing to pay monthly or annually until the annual tuition is paid in full for the stated academic year.
There is a transition fee of one month’s tuition for each student for all withdrawals.
An unpaid tuition balance will prevent Fiddlehead from relinquishing academic files, re-enrolling, or continuing services to your child.

All fees (Materials, Extracurricular Activities, and Enrollment) are per student and non-refundable.
Tuition increases annually.
